Finishing Touch

Time is ticking... seems a lot quicker these days. So many things to do in the next few days. I can't believe this day is actually here. I have decided to buy a camera. No, not a Cool Pix or Power Shot. But a "real" camera. It just doesn't make sense to go on a cross-country trip and not document everything we see. Hopefully this will be a once in a lifetime trip. Because I am sure that after I do it once, I don't know that I will want to do it again. So stay posted for some awesome pics. hopefully ;)

My pride and joy...

And the countdown begins....

Today is Saturday 17, 2009. I am leaving my home in 13 days. I am in complete disbelief and almost denial. Not that I don't want to leave Cincy (because who lives in Cincinnati and doesn't want to get out) But just that it is actually time. There are still a trillion things to do and tons of people I need to say good bye to. And ok, I will admit it.... I am completely bitter about leaving my house behind. Not holding it against anyone, I just can't believe after a year and a half of my blood sweat and tears (tons and tons of tears) went into this house....I have to just walk away. But I have been delaying my move long enough. The time has come. We are packing up and driving across the country. It will be an interesting drive, especially with Walker and Buster. Almost a 4 day drive depending upon which roads are closed due to climate conditions. But I do admit, I am looking forward to it. I will have my camera in hand at all times and will force Andy to stop when I want to snap a shot. So stay tuned for our fun cross-country journey. I will be sure to upload as soon as I can. Also, for those who haven't been over to see the house in it almost completed stage, I have posted some pics. Enjoy.
